What is Hybrid Strategy?

A Hybrid strategy is a combination of both Proactive and Reactive strategies

In a Hybrid strategy, nodes are divided into small clusters.

Nodes communicate using the Proactive strategy within the cluster; while across the cluster nodes communicate using the Reactive strategy.

In a Hybrid strategy, nodes can dynamically join and leave the associated cluster.

The structure thus created by the node cluster helps to limit the scope of routing algorithm reaction to the changes in the network environment.

Hybrid routing is based on Global Positioning System (GPS) that allows each node to know its physical location before mapping an area with a table to identify its origin.
